Hi, I’m Danielle
Hello and welcome! My name is Danielle and I am the teacher author behind On-the-Go English Teacher. I create middle and high school English curriculum to support teachers like you! Here is a little about my teaching experience and my journey as a curriculum designer:
I have spent the last 8 years teaching at both the middle and high school level. While teaching English at the high school level, my passion for curriculum development was born. I spent two years developing curriculum for my school district and by the following year, I created On-the-Go English Teacher in 2017.
Since then I have been able to serve thousands of English teachers nationwide, and continue to make digital and printable teaching resources that make your life while enriching your students’ learning experiences.
My teaching experiences have greatly impacted the way I design curriculum. I meticulously craft each lesson with thoughtful intention, aiming to challenge students slightly beyond their comfort levels while providing ample support throughout their learning journey.

While teaching 9th and 10th grade English in California with class sizes of up to 45 students sometimes, I quickly realized that I needed to create curriculum that met the needs of a WIDE range of students. Large class sizes meant that I likely had every type of learner in the room, and therefore my curriculum needed to reflect that.
For this reason, each of my lesson activities are presented in a step-by-step format to ensure accessibility for every student. My activities clearly state the instructions and provide examples whenever possible so that our students are able to follow the steps of an activity with confidence in their abilities. My goal for each activity that I create is to ensure both teacher and student have the opportunity to engage with the materials in a meaningful way that brings value to their lives.
As my curriculum business has evolved so too has my mission as a teacher seller. What has continued to fuel my passion for curriculum design is knowing how much it supports teachers like you! I know how hard it is for teachers to come up with engaging content everyday. It can be so stressful, especially if you are new to teaching or new to a unit you are teaching. I strive to create curriculum that will keep your students engaged while providing you with ALL of the necessary materials you need to be successful when teaching one of my lessons (ie. outlines, graphic organizers, video clips, teachers keys, tips and instructions for the teacher, grading rubrics, etc.). I leave nothing out to ensure your day runs smoothly. When you purchase a resource from me, you can feel confident knowing that you are going to be successful teaching that lesson to your students.

When I am not creating lessons for On-the-Go-English Teacher, you can find me somewhere on the go! I love staying active playing beach volleyball, hiking in nature, and taking quick trips to the desert. I am happiest when I am caring for my plants and seeing them out in nature too.
